Welcome to 2015

Wow what a year 2014 was. So many highlights and only disappointment was that no new books were written, but hopefully that will all change in 2015.

The success of ‘First Years – Piranhas in the Bedroom’ has surpassed all our expectations. Over 10,000 downloads during 2014 and approaching 1,000 paperbacks purchased. Thank you to everyone who has purchased a copy and please keep on buying them. Copies have been purchased in eight different countries now. The Facebook group ‘Piranhas in the Bedroom’ also now has over 6,000 followers.

King Derek might not quite be rivaling ‘Piranhas in the Bedroom’ for sales but he really has become a mega video star. Staggeringly over 425,000 people have viewed the video of his first book online. Wouldn’t it be great to break the half a million barrier. If you haven’t seen it yet you can watch it now.

What’s Next?

Andy is aiming to publish two new novels in 2015 and both are already partially written. The first is the eagerly anticipated sequel to ‘First Years – Piranhas in the Bedroom’ which currently has a working title of ‘Snakes in the Stores’. This sees what happened to Jonathan and Helen in the late 80’s. It promises to be funny, nostalgic and in places quite sad.

The second book due out this year is an ambitious semi-fictional book featuring Andy’s first love Aston Villa. Titled ‘Just Fourteen’ it is about the life of a 14 year old Villa fan in 1981. The year that Aston Villa used just 14 players to win the league. This funny book will include references to all the games Villa played that season as well as the growing pains of a fourteen year old boy.
